Eos 70D video stutter

I recently encountered this error when taking video in P mode. In varying light conditions, the video is stuttering apparently when the aperture changes. I can hear the diaphragm moving when the stutter occurs. See video example: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AjQ85noUssqfhI8e7BO0gx57LCLZUg.

The same thing happens when not recording, i.e. in the video preview and by pressing the shutter half way I can see that the aperture changes whole values rather than the normal 1/3 stops in "normal" live view. The stutter corresponds to the aperture change consistently. Recording in M mode circumvent the issue. I have tried different SC cards and lenses to rule that out. It is pretty much the same behavior as discussed here: http://photo.stackexchange.com/questions/48310/why-does-changing-the-aperture-cause-lag-in-live-view-and-in-videos.

Can anyone confirm this behavior on their own EOS 70D. I have contacted Canon support and they believe it is a hardware issue, but I would like to see if others experience the same before I send it away.
