I like to get low to the ground with that tilt screen and the touch focus plus of course my favorite lens the 28mm macro.

I already have the EF 100MM L macro, do I need this lens as well....?????

It looks really nice....

A big advantage of the EF 100mm L that you already have is working distance between the lens and the subject. At 28mm, the lens usually has to be very close to the subject for a macro image, which can cause shadows or scare away live subjects. The 100mm gives you some working distance to capture the same relative size image.

Of course the advantage of the M 28mm is size and weight and a slight increase in depth of field at the same relative size image.

I will be testing my EF 100mm macro on my M5 when it arrives in a couple of days.
