X-A3 and 16-55 F2.8

I am looking for a landscape rig.  One option is to buy a X-A3 and a 16-55 F2.8.  My concern is whether the lens mount on the X-A3 will  be able to handle the weight of the 16-55 and how solid will be the setup be on a tripod with all of the weight forward.  I am looking at this lens for the convenience of the one lens setup and I already own a UV, 2 stop ND, 3 stop ND, 10 stop ND, and a Canon 500D close-up lens in the 77mm filter size.  I use a tripod for 90% of my landscape photography so the lack of optical stabilization is not a concern.

Does any one have any experience using an X-A2 with the 16-55 assuming this is similar?

My other choices would be to buy either a series of primes - probably the 16, 23 F2, 35 f2, 60 f2.4, and possibly the 90mm, or two zooms - 10-24 and the 18-55.
