Tamron SP 45mm F1.8 - Review

I've been in the market for a quiet long time searching for the best 50mm lens for my use, and thank god I've chosen this one.

The 45mm Focal length is something I've never thought I would prefer over the 50mm but I did, although the differences is minimal I prefer this focal length, the FOV you see with your own eye (approximately 43mm they say) will be almost the same FOV the lens see.

600 USD for F1.8 ? Yes it's worth it. The lens is very sharp wide open with excellent VC that will give you a better control over your shutterspeed than any f1.4, you will need f1.4 only if you want a shallower DOF or better control of subject movement, the difference once again is minimal that makes me prefer me this combination of sharp f1.8 with VC over f1.4. But this makes me wonder why not a f1.4 with VC ? wouldn't this be awesome ?

built quality is excellent, focusing is accurate a bit slower than the competition they say but focus speed didn't bother me.

I feel that this lens is underrated and it deserves more credit , I think this is because the presence of the Sigma 50mm f1.4 Art. I'm wondering when Nikon will strike back to Tamron and sigma.

in the end I'm very happy customer with the purchase.
