IDAS filter - Blue cast

Hello Forum Friends,

I splurged and bought an IDAS LPS D1 filter for my D810a.  My research indicated that this was the filter of choice for a modified or astro DSLR.  Imaging, as I do, in a Los Angeles suburb I was keenly interested in the benefits of a light pollution suppression filter.  I took some test shots tonight (now that the torrents of rain have yielded to clear skies) and, yikes, they are blue! Unmodified JPEG from RAW file below. So, here is my question: normal and expected?  If so, what is the preferred method for normalizing the color in post processing?

Also, take a look at my LR histogram for this image.  The filter had the result of decoupling all of the channels.  Normal?  Something to be concerned about?  Or should I relax and be happy?

Finally, any tips, words of wisdom, etc. for shooting with an LPS?

Thanks as always!

Wayne
