Canon 5DsR - Niche - but great
1

As a long time Canon fan I was waiting for this camera.

It is a camera for when you want maximum resolution for detail and/or cropping.

I use it for studio macro/still life and for Landscapes provided I am using a tripod.

probably due to my own imperfect technique I rarely if ever use it hand held and even then only if I can really wedge myself so there is no camera movement. 50mp is not that forgiving.

Used within its parameters it is just wonderful. The detail one gets is breathtaking.

The ability to crop severely is sooooo useful at times.

I am giving it 5 star but not recommending  Kids/Pets or sports because they move and use of a tripod and or flash (except for fill light)  is not really ideal or for sport for again tripod and/or flash is impractical. I am also assuming lowlight without flash is tripod based landscape.

It's not for everyone but if you use it as intended you will not be disappointed.
