Fall stereo fiction
1

The leaves of the Japanese maple in the yard curl up before they fall off. It seemed like an interesting photo op.

I know these are easier to free-view with a nice line between the two images (or a consistent border around the whole thing), but I really like the way these images look without the interruption in the middle when you aren't free-viewing. Since in these the right-hand-image is the same as the left-hand image (but reversed), the border between the two images matches perfectly, giving the whole a fairly seam-less look.

If you've experimented with stereo very much, you have probably realized that horizontal lines can lack enough information for them to be perceived at a particular distance; but even a little bit of variation, as in the many horizontal lines here, leave no doubt as to where the wall and the interior Venetian blinds are in relation to the branches and their reflections.
