12-100 IQ, Opinion?

From 2 SLRs and 5 lenses 10 years ago, for weight reasons, narrowed down to Nikon D5500 and compromise lens 18-300 last 1.5 years; gear stolen, so read forum for  3 months and bought G85 with kit 12-60, and 12-100 arrived 2 days ago.

Rain finally stopped, so went out this AM to test lens.  Since I am completely new to MFT and my equipment, WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK of the IQ of THIS EXPENSIVE LENS?  It is a bit less sharp than I expected but my expectation could be off.

All pictures JPEG, no processing no cropping at all on purpose.

f4, 1/100, ISO 400, 12mm, single point focus on small center plaque, early AM, grey sky

took many pictures of 3 different kinds of small yellow flowers, all seem muddled.  Bad technique?  Camera?  f8, 1/160, ISO 1600.  70 mm.  f8 because the f4s were much worse.  1600 because slightest breeze sways flowers even though it was quite calm

f5, 1/250, ISO1600, 100mm, feather seem not so sharp.

Finally, the sun poked through the clouds.  f6.3, 1/160, ISO 420, 75mm.  Focused on center globe.  This one seems sharp.
