You've hit on what fascinates me about Foveon images -- call it "hyper-realism" (forgive the over-used term). I see that it's possible to make images that heighten the spatial, textural, and color/tonal translation of a scene into something we envision, rather than a more prosaic "satisfactory" representation that might result from a more conventional sensor. Yes, it is a unique tool for artistic expression.
