Hey gang - just a quick check-in to say both "hello" and to see what you've shot this past week or two with your NX camera(s). It's important to keep this forum going because it's noticeable at how quickly the volume and traffic levels have dropped.
A week or so ago friends of mine wanted me to take some "graduation" photos of their son, so I took him to one of my favorite areas for Photography because of the wonderful backdrops that come into play. This is the Historic Yates Mill County Park in Raleigh, NC. The historic grist mill is there (fully operational) and it's a great place to test cameras, grab wonderful images in general, and to just visit and stroll. I often take my new cameras here to test the camera for contrasts, optical clarity, and more. Some of you may have seen images of this place using some of my other brand cameras, so I don't mean to bother you here. Many photographers come to site time and time again to grab shots here.
Anyway, while there this time around, I brought the NX30 w/16-50 PZ lens along and grabbed a bunch of additional regular scenic shots of the area. It was early afternoon and the winter lighting made for rich, warm colors. The father didn't want any images posted of their son (fully understandable), so I won't do that. Even though I have the NX500 (which I absolutely love), I also still maintain the NX300 and NX30. The NX30 is such a pleasure to use and I am constantly reminded at how gorgeous the IQ is from this camera - in particular, the DR.
Anyway - here are some NX30 images (love that PZ 16-50 lens - the 3 copies I have are very sharp and contrasty). All images shot in RAW, AWB, Aperture Priority Mode - at ISO's ranging from 100 - 400. RAW conversions were done using Photoshop CC ACR. JPG conversions were then later made using the excellent (free) batch processing software known as Irfanview. Resized to 1800 x 1223 x 24. I never upload the full sized images because most folks don't view real life scenarios at a constant 100%. Click under each image (the link that says original file) to bring up the full sized image (1800 x....).
So let's see what you've done over the past week or two (OK, even longer if you just want to post).
