Re: X100T + accessories for sale

That price sounds much better.

I updated the selling price to 875 USD for the whole package.

I do not know. I still shoot the X100 happily. They are GREAT cameras - fairly compact, great images, look damn sexy too. But unfortunately I am not in the market yet since I just got the PRO 2 this year.

I wouldn't be upgrading till next Spring with the X100F - if the new model's reviews are as good as they were for the X100 and in this case the X100T.

Thanks. what is the expected price? i can adjust the price a bit.

Well I'm not sure it would be smart to buy the X100T at a premium price when FUJI is announcing the X100F model next month.

You may have to adjust your price expectations.

Alright, I have a problem, I stopped by a local camera store (Samy's in Los Angeles) and tried out an Xpro2 briefy.

Love/infatuation at first grip, it just feels right in the hand, very solid, love the friction on the thumb grip area. Autofocus with the 35mm f2 felt snappy, very responsive and the nib to control it is awesome! I need to go spend more time with one, I was in a rush unfortunately

I really enjoy my X100T I've had for over a year now and thousands of photos later, but this has me thinking, especially with an ostensibly weather resistant smaller 23mm f2 on the way rumored... I want to be able to work with wider and medium telephoto lenses, the X100T converters however don't appeal to me.

XPro 2 battery life being so short has me worried, would have to carry a couple spares versus the one spare I usually get away with for my X100T. The price is obviously very high, but it's a machine made to last, I don't think it'll be replaced for a while. Early bugs are definitely on my mind, I figure they'll be ironed out soon, I'd want to get this thing before June. 100$ off the 35mm f2 when bought together is nice too, that's a lens I'd want anyways to start with.

Debating how much I'll miss the leaf shutter of the X100T and the ND filter, the form factor isn't too different and is offset by the more comfortable ergonomics of the Xpro 2. I don't really use the high flash sync of the X100T much unfortunately, nor the ND filter. I really dislike the loud and more often than not slow autofocus of the X100T. I do try to manual focus but good autofocus would be great...

I'd have to surmise I'd mostly miss the always quiet X100T shutter, battery life even tho the X100T isn't the greatest in that department.

Sidenote I feel like the autofocus on my X100T is pretty loud/grindy souding, maybe a lemon? I also tried out the Xpro 1 in the store, didn't feel good in the hand after the Xpro2, wouldn't get it even for 500$ it is at now, the Xpro2 felt lightyears more refined.

Anyways, question: anyone want to share their experience selling off their X100 for the Xpro2 so far? worth it? any thoughts are good. Thanks! the kind of pics I take for fun are on my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/alexyessayantz/ otherwise it's various events, trying to branch out.
