Panasonic GX7 Underexposing Help

Hi,

I have just upgraded from a Nikon D3200 to the Panasonic GX7 with 14-42mm lens.

I m new to this camera and only had it a few days but I have been taking a few photos with it using 'A' and 'S' modes in jpg and Auto and Manual ISO and found that all my photos are coming out a bit dark and underexposed.

I have tested this by taking the same photo with my Nikon D3200 in the same setting and similar focal length shots and they are fine and a lot brighter.

Am I missing some setting?  Should it do this or is there an issue with my Panasonic GX7 camera?

have included 2 photos to show demonstrate darkness on second Panasonic gx7 shot

Thank you for your help.
