I tend to use my Olympus 9-18mm for landscapes. However, some of my best landscapes are panoramas taken at a 'standard' focal length, shot vertically and stitched in Lightroom. I have some landcsapes covering 180 degrees and you can't see the joins.

I do panoramas quite a lot. Here's one recent one taken landscape mode. There's only two errors I think, both with moving subjects, which can't be helped.

Caerphilly Castle. Yes, a real castle!

Edit. Just noticed that it says 'no lens'. This means that I must have shot that panorama with the 9mm body cap fishy. Normally I'd use 14 to 19mm for such a shot. It's come out surprisingly well I think for a fishy auto panorama. It is at f8 of course, because this lens has a fixed aperture and indeed no real focussing. It's just set to infinity.
