Can anyone confirm the the Panasonic 12-35 f2.8 and 35-100 f2.8 work OK with the Dual mode IS2? Looking at the Panasonic support site, it suggests they are OK. That would be a bonus switching from Oly bodies for me.

Does Panasonic have the equivalent of the Oly super control panel with touch access from it? I see there's a Quick menu, but can't find any photos of it.

There is the quick menu, but another way is to press the display button (info in Olympus terminology) several times, and a SCP like menu will pop up.

Lets see on mine as I have it setup, the top row has 4 cells:

  1. Mode (i.e. P, A, S, M, etc.)
  2. Aperture (in A or M modes)
  3. Shutter speed (in S or M modes)
  4. Battery power

The second row has 3 cells:

  1. ISO
  2. Exposure compensation
  3. Flash mode + flash compensation

The third row has 7 cells:

  1. Display current drive mode (set by left dial, cannot be changed on the monitor)
  2. Focus mode (single shot auto focus AFS or S-AF as Olympus calls it, and continuous auto focus AFF or C-AF as Olympus calls it)
  3. AF sensors active (i.e. single point, group, all)
  4. Quality (fine/standard, with/without RAW)
  5. Aspect ratio
  6. Wifi
  7. Fn setup

The forth and last row has 5 cells:

  1. JPG mode (standard, vivid, monochrome, etc.)
  2. White balance
  3. i.dynamic mode (I haven't looked into this yet)
  4. Metering mode (whole shot, center, point)
  5. # of shots that can be taken with current parameters and memory card

Generally, Panasonic makes more use of the touch screen for commands than Olympus does.  To some extent, it is because Panasonic actually designs the user interface more, where Olympus tends to think in terms of static setups.
