PS: I have the sneak suspicion that the same is happening with the Quattro camera and 630 flashes,

Best,

Alex

Paulo,

Impossible, the sd Quattro has no built in flash.

Really??? I don't get you!!! I am making a point that Sigma is failing their customers on their flash and camera literature and all you can come up with is with the snigger "Oh!!!! Paulo!!!! By the way... Do you know that the Quattro does not have a built-in flash???"

What is your help in this discussion? Apart from derision? Are you a Sigma employee???

If I lived in Japan I'd be very happy to be a Sigma employee. Clearly I am not.

I accept things as they are and use them as they are and see no reason to get excited about things that don't matter very much.

By the way my flashguns, the EF-500 DG Super SA TTL and the newer EF-630 work fine in Normal Slave mode at 1/1 fired by the on camera flash of the SD1M and that's good enough for me.

I was in no way derisive nor would I want to be in pointing to the fact that the sd Q has no on board flash.

Good night and good bye.

S

And I repeat... so this does not get lost...

So Sigma... if you are an honourable and reputable Japanese camera manufacturer please update your manuals and websites accordingly. Ah... and apologise.
