Depth maps and vertical Fuji W3

A lot of you will know that depthy.me lets you convert 2d pictures to 3d by loading a depth map with your 2d image -- and outputting it as a "wiggle" 3d animation or anaglyph. Making a good depth map is the problem. There is software here:

http://3dstereophoto.blogspot.com.au/p/software.html for depth from stereo (and 2d to 3d software)

I think his DMAG 7 has the best potential (it is based on software used in Google's Cardboard Camera app) for depth from stereo.

Depth from stereo software doesnt care if the stereo images are over/under or side by side. If you have a Fuji W3 oriented vertically you can rotate the depth map and the L image CCW 90 degrees and you have a vertical format stereo (image+depth) pair. So good for stereo for lenticular portraits with the W3 for instance.

Here is one of my Depthy animations with a vertical W3 https://gfycat.com/EasyMadEelelephant
