hello there,
i finally have the ownership of Samsung NX500. Everythings fine, but everytime it shows this notice '' card not supported. card error, reinsert the memory card and then turn off and on again'' when i use micro sdhc 128gb. I have tried two 128 gb card .. and the result is the same.
however it works perfectly fine with micro sdhc 4gb card.
Hope someone can enlighten me on this matter.
Ok, but does this solves the problem. I wonder why people with the same problem don't reply to this thread. I already formated my card in different formats and it is still giving error. Can anyone tell me if cards with adapter work on the NX500? I need to buy another card...
I bought a 128GB micro SD card (Toshiba) a few months back and with an adaptor:
On NX300: It works 100% of the time, never had any issue
On NX500: It works sometimes only. Tried formatting it inb many diferent ways, on many diferent devices, using diferent adapters.
In the end, the best I could achievce was the memory card to be recognized 50% of the time.
I also discovered that the adapter used would make a huge diference, some were ok-ish (that one that allowed the card to be recognized 50% of the time), others were crap and did not even come that close.
In the end, my theory is:
The NX500 is prepared to supporte those high speeds and adding an adapter can dammage or lessen the data signal... Just my 2c...
Anyway, ended up buying a full size SD card (64GB) and solved my problem.
Thanks That's what I did. I buy a regular SD card today... Toshiba cards are really ceap. You could buy a 64GB for the price of a 32 GB. But they are micro SD cards, and have an adapter. I just wish, with cell phones and all that stuff, that SD cards don't disappear...
