Small EFM lenses are not better than big EF lenses, especially in color rendition. Moreover, most EFM lenses are slow in aperture. However, M5 provides good control and image. Therefore you have to use EF lenses through adapter if you want to use M5 at its full capacity. If then, why not 80D?

I would add that M5 is good if it's going to be your only camera.

Go with the m2 if you want a smaller body.
