Having a blast with X-T2, manual lenses + manual & automatic settings
1

I used to have a Fujifilm X100s and I loved the colours and what I perceived was the 'magic' of its sensor. I had hoped I could use other lenses with the same sensor in the future and was very tempted by the X-T1 when it came out. For what was surely and purely a psychological reason the X-T1 and I didn't click. I got a Sony A7 to which I would mount lenses of the Voigtländer kind. The A7 was a very nice camera but it would not give me that Trans-X colour magic! (Again that's just my perception).

Went for the X-T2, bought a non-official Fuji M-mount adapter, popped that manual lens and away I went using everything manually, or sometimes leaving auto ISO and sometimes auto shutter speed, or sometimes both but the lens focus and aperture on manual, obviously.

It's the first time I have all these manual options readily available on a digital camera, thank you Fuji for all the sturdy and numerous buttons and dials!

Buttons and dials aside, I finally got my wish granted, my favourite lens (Voigt Ultron 28 f2) + my favourite kind of sensor, pure joy.

Manual or automatic ISO, Shutter... fun stuff.

Lens looks to me like it came with the system.
