Branches and the river... ice
1

At the end of my street, the river streams narrow and forcefully next to some trees.

Some of the lower branches take splashes of water and get frozen.

I'm still pondering the right angle and shutter-speed and all for a shot. It's a nasty place to climb to, and I'm more than afraid to slip, fall and loose my siggie, or legs.

This one is a handheld zoomed in. Thinking of taking some other shots tomorrow with a tripod for more contrast with ice and flowing water.

Any tips or insights on shooting ice and streaming water is most welcome.
