Sigma 50-100MM 1.8 Art for Basketball
Re: Sigma 50-100MM 1.8 Art for Basketball
Going back through my pictures from friday nights exhibition game. All of these images were taken with the Sigma 50-100mm. The first three were shot on the D500 and the last picture was taken on my Nikon D750 in crop mode with the Sigma 50-100 lens.
The Sigma lens is very sharp right out of the box. It is very fast on the autofocus with the 500. It is very awkward to be shooting the far end with the 70-200 on the 750 and then switching to the near end with the 500 and the 50-100 lens. The biggest thing is the focus ring on the 50-100 is near the camera and focus ring on the outside. The 70-200 is just opposite. The zoom rings zoom in opposite directions. Really surprised the two sigma lenses operate in different directions.
Here are a few examples with very little editing.
