Re: a mini 7d2 super-AF'ing MILC ?

Now, this is much better frame of reference for me: a mini 7d2-like, super-AF'ing MILC. As even a top-notch, uber-hyper m43 is still burdened for me by its primordial sin of having a tiny, compromised sensor.

So at least an APS-C is simply a must, but with some caveats:

  • pocket rocket indeed, so please NOT with an unnecessarily bulging, a fake pentaprism;
  • AF'ing really would need to be at least on the 7d2 level, esp. for fast action shooting and tracking in high-fps, continuous mode;
  • zero-lag, at least 120fps, high-res EVF;
  • fully compatible with EF/EF-S lenses, with no penalty on their speed of AF and accuracy;

So, a Sony A6500 then?

  • and finally either NO-VIDEO at all;
  • or if they really need to piggy back a video parasite on such splendid still cam,
  • then there should be an user-selectable option to disable ALL vid's oriented options in one menu stroke;
  • so... all the vid's positions on the mode dial should automatically turn into placeholders of additional (Cx, Cy, Cz) user's settings;
  • all the vid's buttons will be freed and became user-programmable, etc.

Oh, perhaps not
