Fuji XT2 from a nervous Nikon owner.

Having to hump about a 5kg of camera gear for 8 hrs a day for work is no fun for anyone, and as my back is staring to achy now I rather riskily (cost wise) preordered & picked up a Fuji XT2 from LCE camera shop in The Strand,London yesterday (they had 2 more in stock by the way).Took it for a spin around the South Bank playing with it,daytime, night shots, and again on a model friend of mine today.
Put the Fuji files into the computer, and to my furrowed brow I can't find anything to adjust, auto white balance is spot on,edge to edge sharpness with this 16-55 lens is razor sharp, colour on Provia Standard is very nice indeed.Velvia is rich without oversaturating.I may have to stick with my D3S which I have been using for 4 years just so I can ponce about with the files in Lightroom.
I have a queue of photographer colleagues waiting to take me down the pub so they can feel up the new camera,Ive never been so popular.A testament to the Fuji design and also the files the camera produces. Not tried the continuous focus enough yet to say it is as good as my D3s,that thing is just a machine.Quick thoughts say it isn't,I probably have to watch some online video tips to get the best out of it.Am missing the shallow depth of field look a bit,and the files do look a bit grainy at 1600 compared to the Nikon but I guess I knew that before I bought it.
Have to say coming from an older Nikon this thing is phew...it kind of feels like the camera form a swiss watch, just seems so meticulously engineered.Impressed.I won't be able to use it for work though until the flash is released, which could be a stumbling block,so hurry up Fuji.
I would highly recommend this camera to any Canon or Nikon shooters looking for a second camera.Just puts the fun back into taking pictures for a pro on a day off.
