The 45mm standard version is identical in terms of 2D output. Obviously with the 3D version you get the advantage of 3D and this is actually quite fun, although I've only used it once or twice. You don't actually need a 3D TV as you can convert the files so they can be viewed using the old school 3D glasses, and the effect is pretty cool.
OK. I would not use 3D, so the other one is ok. Did not buy anything today. Instead took some pictures in the sun with the 500. See I could have done better with EVF. Will follow the sales forum here, should be some NX30s around.
