Well, since in my case the M3 came after the M10, it feels like a contrary to progressive...

As for external flash, I use it too (almost always bouncing), but sometimes you don't have it with you and then a small built-in flash is still better than no flash at all..;-))

Anyway, thank you all for your help; now I know for sure that there is nothing wrong with my M3!..;-))

And there is a workaround for almost every quirk...
