Re: GH4 video judder/strobing - a solution

I double checked many GH4 videos I have and can't see any stutter. It could be I don't have the right kind of pans or movement to show it. I don't have the camera anymore but to me right now all that matters is that all footage that I have looks good. All I can see is some motion blur but that's normal for 24p, and it's constant frame to frame.

I'm using a Mac Pro with a HP IPS 24'' monitor (1080p) and Nvidia shield TV connected to a Samsung 4k TV and the Shield is set up to switch the TV automatically to 48HZ, 50Hz or 60Hz depending on the video framerate.

Using Media info, codecs look the same and also botrate between GH4 and GX85.

I've only used SanDisk Extreme Pro cards, always the best ones, but now with the GX85 I got a Lexar 1000x but still doesn't explain why the 30p video never stutters on the same frames so I'm thinking is a codec issue.

And the plot thickens: Droping the stuttery 4K footage on a 1080p timeline in Final Cut and export 1080p at 17mbps, result in the same kind of video that stutters from time to time. Rallly strange.
