When I use my NEX6 (or RX100) to record video in AVCHD (.mts files), there is no timestamp visible on the file. However, if I then convert that .mts file to .avi or .mp4 (using Xilisoft for example), all of a sudden there is a timestamp in the converted video. This is something exclusive to my Sony .MTS files. If I convert a video downloaded from another camera, or from the internet, there is no timestamp.
If I use my NEX6 (or RX100) to record in .MP4, there is no timestamp visible on the original file or in the converted file.
Any ideas how to stop this from happening? Again, there is no visible timestamp in the original .MTS file -- only in the subsequently converted file.
