I'm not seeing any issue with my gh4 footage. I shoot 24p in C4K indoors and 30p UHD outdoors.

But I do watch my footage on a 48Hz capable TV. I use Kodi software as a media center and it is set-up to always switch the TV to the frequency matching the framerate. So when I play 24p clips, the Tv automatically switches to 48Hz. I see no judder whatsoever.

...yes that's basically the 'solution', watching GH4 footage on a TV capable of matching it's refresh rate to the incoming signal.

Unfortunately a lot of us edit on monitors - which are fixed at 60Hz - this is where the issue arises.

I'm not a ,,pro,, but I'm very sensitive to framerate-frequency issues. Watching 24p hollywood movies on my old 60Hz pc monitor really hurts my eyes and I see judder. I'm sure what you're seeing is a display issue.

I'm sure you'll find monitoring your footage while filming, either though the GH4's rear monitor or worse the EVF, does judder like hell - and will hurt your eyes - it hurts my brain!
