Re: Perils of Infrared Photography

i'm also new to a full spectrum converted camera and also have an olympus e-pl6.

it's more fun than i thought and I haven't even tried astrophotography with it yet.

i'm learning a lot about raw file processing and filters. i don't have to have a 'hot' uv/ir cut filter but sometimes want to only take one camera. i got one made by B+W, 37mm, on my 37mm lumix 12-32 lens. the focus was never very fast with my 680 and 720 IR filters but i can't even focus with this hot filter. i mean it won't focus at all and there's no manual focus for this lens. does anyone know why this is only happening with the hot filter and not the other IR filters?
