This actually may be a prime candidate for multi-exposure merge, if the wind was not moving the leaves too much.

The reasons are that the highlights around the headlight and the plethora of curved reflective surfaces including both glass and metal demand very low exposures to contain all the subtle transitions, and you could lose anything in the darker areas of the frame if you try to get all of that in a single, very dark, exposure.

The problem people find with this particular treatment is in the tone mapping after the merge which threw away the highlight areas anyway removing the prime motivation for multiple exposures in the first place. And they are right in saying that if you wanted this look to begin with, you probably did not need to take multiple exposures to merge. For instance, the free Nik HDR software can likely get you this from one of the exposures in the series.
