Both of Leica and Sony do not have mirror.

I prefer Leica's small lens to Sony or Canon's big lens.

You know what else makes autofocus lenses larger? Autofocus.

e.g. new FD 28 f/2 (1979) - 10 elements, 9 groups, 52mm filter, 63mm x 47.2mm, 265g

EF 28 f/1.8 USM (1995) - 10 elements, 9 groups, 58mm filter, 73.5mm x 55.6mm, 310g
