That sample that you provided looks pretty good, especially considering the high res. sensor that you're pairing it with. I'd expect that to fall apart on a 41mp sensor. Just to confirm, you were using the 200 f2 + 2x teleconvertor wide open? It says 400mm f4, but sometimes when using other brands, it doesn't detect actual f stop. If you can confirm that, you're probably going to sway me towards the 200mm f2 instead of 400 DO (after a good amount of testing of a rental, of course). Feel free to send me more samples

Yes, the Metabones IV reports the Aperture with 2X TC correctly. That is not even a canon version of TC, it is the chinese knockoff Yongnuo..
