Shooting from the top of a sky scraper.

Hi.

Next week I'll be spending a day in London, England and I will travel up the tallest building in England to look down on the city of London. There I will get a great view of London and the question is what to bring?

Unlike the London Eye or the wrongly placed Olympic Tower(Arcelor Orbit), the Shard isn't roughly a hundred meters tall. Unlike those two attractions you can't see a big deal, the Shard is approx 300m tall and has glassless viewing areas.

My first impression is to play it safe and bring the GH4 with the 12-35. However, since most of the nearest buildings are at least 250m away then there's no point needing the 12mm focal length. I'm better off bringing my GX80 with my PL15mm, PL25mm, and my PL45mm.

The GX80 has no AA filter so it's better for landscapes and the primes will get extra details out of the scene compared to the 12-35. The PL45mm in my opinion; is better at picking up more detail than the slower Panasonic 42.5mm 1.7. It also has a slightly greater reach compared to the 12-35. Strange no one done a comparison review of both the PL45 and the PL42.5. It would be interesting to see which two lenses are the sharpest?

Any suggestions?
