Of course, it's worth noting that the 85mm sits in your trunk because in its place you are using an L zoom that costs 4 times as much  

It was a key lens back in the film era when we were desperate to get anything recorded, and quite useful for portraits and basketball. Honestly, mine sits in the trunk of my car these days and I haven't used it for several years.
