Xf 35mm f2 to compliment the 16-55 (x pro 2)

I think the only reviews of the new 23mm f2 are based on pre-production models but those I read suggested the 23mm was sharper in center and across the frame and generally better performer than the 35mm f2. (I sometimes wonder how perfect lenses are produced and yet still improved upon.) Its performance is said to be very close to that of the much more expensive 23mm f1.4 - max aperture not withstanding - which to me translates as - just as good in real world use.

The 35mm f2 still seems (slightly) something of an anomaly with differing reports mainly in comparison to the f1.4 but there again the reports are often based on charts rather than real world results.

Fuji make great lenses.

Hopefully the copy i saw is the only bad copy.  This is the final release as it is now available here in the middle eastZ even the reviewer for the 23 f2 was not impressed by the lens and experience softness in the lower apertures. Fuji forums comment regarding the lens says the same thing that the 16-55 is sharper than the f2 prime (23)..
