In Search of Colorado Gold
9

Fall is a great time of year here is Colorado and has large numbers of photographers and sightseers out looking for Colorado Gold in the aspen forests in the state.  Kathleen and I struck gold near the city of Aspen, CO.  Here are a few oaf the images we captured during our stay.  All were shot with the sd Quattro and the 18-35 mm Art lens, except the of me waiting for a nut to get out of the lake.  That is Kathleen shot and was captured with the SD15 and the 17-70 mm OS lens.

View out side the visitor's center and tour bus drop off.

Kathleen is at the end of this tunnel of gold grabbing an shot!

Kathleen captured me patiently (not) waiting for a nut to get out of the lake so I could get a shot or 2.  The guy finally got out of the lake only to return with his shirt off, grrrr.

Finally the nut case left and I was able to capture this shot, which I like a lot.

Enjoy the Colorado Gold!
