3D Conversions from 2D - Not "Emulations" of Stereopsis

The 3D effect achieved by 2D to 3D conversion utilizing monocular depth cues is not intended to be an "emulation" of the 3D effect of stereopsis (which utilizes binocular depth cues).

Photographers whose archives are laden with images susceptible to effective 3D conversion are delighted to find that they have a means of such conversion.
