XF 16-55mm f/2.8 as an architecture zoom lens

Hey guys. I've been using my X-T10 and X-A2 for about a year. Both are the great cameras. I'm not going to discuss all the pluses and minuses of each one of them. The most of you know them. I need your suggestions about my situation. For the street work especially architecture (I don't shoot people) I use my three let's say street architecture zoom lenses which are XF 18-55, XF 18-135 and XC 16-50. Obviously the latter I use mostly on my X-A2 when I need to travel light. Honestly, I like all three of them for different purposes. Just yesterday I went to Philadelphia for a day trip which is my favorite city as far as the old architecture goes. I usually shoot with either 18-55 or 18-135 lenses with the preference to 18-135 because of the longer reach. I love this lens especially at f/8 aperture and I used to use it a lot and satisfied with the picture quality. But yesterday once I had decided to switch it to 10-24 which I first time brought with me and I was thinking about selling it because I wasn't quiet this focal range lover. I used to prefer 18 and up. Right after that 10-24 was glued to my first X-A2 with my primary X-T10 with 18-135. Later I even switched the cameras and started to use  10-24 on my main X-T10 camera using 18-135 much less and when I used it I never extended it above 55mm which was really strange for myself. Now, when I came back home last evening, looked at the pictures, discovered this new changed focal range 10-55mm from both combined lenses and started to think about 16-55mm f/2.8 lens which as I understand is highly regarded one as far as picture quality goes. I know of all the shortcomings related to this one and still have money which I'd reserved for upcoming 80mm macro  some time ago and it would be enough to pay for 16-55 now especially it's still on sale $200 off now. Will I definitely benefit from having  this lens especially shooting mostly in a day time and with f/8 aperture. More than likely I won't use it insides since I have primes for this situation. Only for architectural shots and I might use it even in dim light since it's 2.8 aperture lens. I know it's limited without image stabilization but I saw pictures made by this lens and they are jaw dropping and now I would use my 10-24 and 16-55 together with an upcoming X-T2 which I plan to get by Christmas time with my existing X-T10. The bulkiness isn't that much matter, I'm after the picture quality. What do you think, guys?
