SDQ Rocks the Rockies
3

Canadian that is.  We spent a week in the Canadian Rockies driving from Calgary to Canmore, through Banf to Lake Louise and then to Jasper.  This is the standard tourist route and even at mid-September, it was very busy.

There is only one way to describe the Canadian Rockies - visually stunning and even more photogenic.  I shot mainly the SDQ, some DP0 and a handful of SD1.  Thanks to Kendall for lending me his 50-100. I also shot the 30 Art and 18-35.  Most stuff was hand-held.  We had light overcast and some light the first 3 days with snow falling at the hot springs and 3 days of good light. The drive up Icefield Parkway is so spectacular that I was shooting through the windshield and out the side window.

Shots to follow:

Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art Sigma 50-100mm F1.8 DC HSM Art Sigma SD1
