so how would you like it to play out, assuming that Canon does go full Mirrorless some day.

Would you be OK buying new lenses, or instead use an adapter ? Or would you rather see a native EF mount in the new Mirrorless bodies foregoing the possibility of a much smaller body ?

I would rather see a native EF mount. For the higher end market (fast lenses etc.) the size advantage of ML seems to rapidly disappear anyhow - why complicate life with too many mounts?

It is interesting to compare the evolution/convergence  between ML and DSLRs.

Recent Photokina announcements are interesting - EM1 ii for one seems to be heading very close to D500/7D2 territory (based on just specs). The new GX80 seems to have very compelling 4K video and other doodads like photo-stacking etc.

On the other hand, with the exception of 4K, 5Div seems like a very solid camera including some cool touch features and exception live view tracking. So in effect, 5Div is already a ML camera minus an EVF.

If Canon were able to to put an switchable evf/ovf, it would certainly get a very interesting.
