I jumped ahead of myself. It's not 0.62x.

For other readers asking about what viewfinder magnification is: it the ratio of the size of the object you see through the viewfinder and the size got would see with your naked eye. As this obviously depends on focal length of the lens used, the standard is to specify it for 50mm lens. That's why the crop comes into play here.

Manufacturers usually specify the magnification with crop taken into account (so they say 1.1x for m43 but then you have to divide it by crop factor to get to 0.55x). Note that this 0.39 makes no sense in that way so it's quite possible that I was wrong and it is a physical size of screen you are looking at (in inches), but that's not interesting information at all since it ignores the optics between your eye and it. If it was a already normalized value to full frame value - then it's awful (it's usually around 0.6 or similar for average evfs, 0.7+ for very good ones, on aps-c).

For comparison a6000 has 1cm (0.4") display and 0.7x magnification. Nex-6 has 1.3cm and 0.73x. Without knowledge about optics we can't tell.
