I needed a nice prime to compliment the 18-55 kit lens for my x-t2. Was going to hold out for the 23/2 but the 35 is here now and the reviews are great. I really want it for portraits and shallow depth of field and some street photography. Ill try the 23 when it comes out. Had a great time at Samys yesterday trying all the Fuji lenses, The 16-55 is great but I feel the 18-55 is better for my needs. Sharp, light and OIS. I like to keep my gear light as this is the reason why I ditched DSLRs and even Sony mirrorless.

I just did the same yesterday. It's hard find any review that doesn't love it.

Just ordered the $70 lens hood, bw filter and :

im going to check this lens out myself -- -- i have the 23 1.4 i just love it. Seems like i may interested in this 35 (good price)

I I went with the 35 because its been out for awhile and has great reviews. I preordered the 23 from BH. The filters, lens hood etc are the same. May keep both. Great little lenses. Im tempted to get the 56 but its too narrow for 99%of my needs.
