Hi just wondering if those of you who use the large 16-55 on the X-Pro2 have decided you do or don't need the extra handgrip accessory, and which one you bought. I've just got a 16-55 and it is manageable on the X-Pro2 but wondering if the handling is much improved for the16-55 and Aldo the 50-140 (which I may get) on the Pro2. Thanks for advice.

Yes, I use the official Fuji grip accessory for the X-Pro2, it improves handling with the larger lenses no end, including the 16-55

I do not use a handgrip w/XP2 and 16-55 (which is my most used lens) but...

I do use a half-case I got on Amazon not the Gariz because I do not like the thick metal bottom but this one has a leather bottom and it is just thick enough that the camera and lens sit level.

IMO, the people who complain about the size of the 16-55 are one-handed shooters. I always cradle my camera lens with my left hand and shoot with the right and I find the XP2 + 16-55 to be perfectly balanced.

I find the Fuji grip and Lensmate thumb grip make it very easy to handle with the 55-220.
