Canon 600D and Blue Yeti mic. Problems?

Hello. First post on the forum, but hoping this is the correct place to put it.

I have bought a Blue Yeti Mic and tried connecting it to my Canon EOS 600D. I want to use it as a stereo mic and not mono. The problem is that it only seems to be picking up the right channel? Or... the input from the mic is on the right channel on the camera, so when I listen to it on the computer only the right earplug has noise from the mic.

It seems to be using its internal mic as the left one, and therefore some minor noise can be heard in the left earbud. I do not think there's anything wrong with the microphone or cable because when I listen to an audio recording on my mac it is in stereo, and when I use the earbuds directly connected into the mic it works perfectly.

So the questions are... Have anyone else experienced it? How to fix it? Is my camera broken?

Thanks a lot!
