Depth recession in 2d to 3d conversions

I was surprised to receive no complaints (so far) concerning the disparity in widths between the two pair mates. I suspect that it is due to the image details that are identically located at the edges of the individual images. The intervening details across the image at a given depth are horizontally separated appropriately and proportionately according to their common depth within the image. The merging abilities of the cerebral cortex yet again demonstrates its versatility!

Here are some examples in which most , but certainly not all viewers (so far), have perceived clear separation in depth between even the most distant landforms/buttes.
One viewer provided a labeled demo of her perception of differentiable depths.
