Sigma 18-250 Macro on K-50, Comments please,..

Hi Folks,

I'm a happy user of two K-50s. I love the interface of these cameras, particularly the TAV mode, which allows the ISO to float.

I usually set up with 1/1000th and F8 to give myself some flexibility in case I get chances at flying geese or a particular group of ducks where I need a fairly deep depth of field. I used both of my K-50s, one with the 18-135mm and the other with the 55-300. I really got some great shots today,.......but I found that sometimes the 18-135 didn't have quite enough reach and other times the 55-300 wasn't quite wide enough.

I'm considering the Sigma 18-250 Macro to replace the 55-300. I've used this lens before on a Canon DSLR and got really good results, sharp pictures with good color. I would think it would be a good and fast focusing lens on a K-50 but I always value actual user comments.

Anyone using the Sigma that can give me some comments on it?

Thanks!

Jack
