two beautiful landscapes - first photos with the DP1 Merrill
3

Hi,

I am new to this forum (this is one of my first posts, and the first where I dare share photos) as well as to Sigma cameras. I am still struggling to learn how to take nice photos, and then how to process them properly in SPP 5.5.3, but as a somewhat awkward way to thank all those who share their work and pieces of advice which prove very valuable for beginners on this forum, I wanted to share with you these two photos. Surely they are crippled with many defects, but one has to go through many errors before hopefully grasping a few things one day - maybe... For this very reason, all comments are appreciated, even the harshest, obviously.

(I could not get rid of this strange magenta shade at the top right part of this first photo - for now. I guess it should be dealt with with the fringe correction feature of SPP but could not figure out how, yet.)

I hope you will appreciate these landscapes of French Massif Central , in spite of the many weaknesses of the photos.

Kind regards.

F.
