Not to put too fine a point on it again, but who has these "naked eyes." My eyes have needed refractive lenses for many many years. I have several pair of anaglyph glasses which fit over my regular closeup glasses or medium close computer glasses. The downside is that some subjects are kind of dim even on a backlit screen. The red image gets real dark at times. But fusable and interesting. I think Wim does the best anaglyphs I have run across in a long time. Also good stereo depth and subjects helps.

I understand "naked eyes" mean in this case "no special glasses"

I see cross eyes with my regular glasses that I use for viewing the computer screen.

When I look on the 3D TV I use MPO files and put a pair of 3D active glasses over my regular glasses.

You are so right, Zeev. 😁

I too wear spectacles and view all cross-view 3D pairs as well as small parallel pairs without any viewers. It is really so convenient.

I think previously, stereo photography didn't go mainstream due to the need to use viewers. Humans like convenience.

But now since 3D videos are easily available on the Web with the arrival of Cardboards and such VR devices, I think 3D video (as well as 3D stills) will take off in a big way.

3D rocks!
