SD Quattro first run. A fantastic camera

Changed my B&H order from kit with 30 mm 1.4 (backordered) to body only ( in stock) as I have travel plans. Received the camera had one grain of dust on sensor. That was cleaned after the first shots. Removing the IR filter was not difficult.

went for a short hike with my daughter and used the SDQ today with 2 lenses. the old 17-50 mm 2.8 and the new 50-100 1.8. The camera has slow AF and slow buffer but miles ahead of the SD1, the menu was easy to use. the viewfinder is not the highest quality but is OK. I had also with me a sony A7r II with a 70-200 f 2.8 gm lens. and compared portraits with this versus the SDQ with the 50-100 1.8 lens. For that purpose (day light low iso portraits, I like the sigma better.

When I reviewed the on the 4k monitor I was really happy. I could really see the 3d effect of the film cameras and the color details unlike any other, what an amazing camera.
