Of the 3 photos, probably the second one is the sharpest. The problematic one is the first photo. Here are my suggestions:

1) Pick a different time of the day when the light is not as harsh. The light in the first photo is harsh direct light and it washes out your image, as well as changes the color hue of the rose. Really harsh light can sometimes even fool your auto focus system. If you must take photos of flowers in mid-day, look for flowers in the shade.

2) Learn good techniques in holding the camera if you want your pictures to be tack sharp. Google for techniques.

3) Use a tripod if you want absolute sharpness in your image. I myself almost never use a tripod but relie on good shooting techniques instead.

The problem in the first image is mostly contrast problem. The mid-day flare is really the culprit here. To correct the problem, I take the liberty of running your image through camera raw in photoshop:

First I move the black slider to the right to get rid of the low contrast haze, flare...then I lower the exposure ever so slightly. This will correct the low contrast. Next I up the luminosity and the saturation a tiny bit. Following that I adjust the hue on the red color slider. And

I enhance the local contrast. Finally I dial back the contrast using the RGB curve, and then sharpen to taste. I don't normally like to do too much post-processing. I consider it a brute force attempt at salvaging a photo, but in this case I do it to illustrate my point. Get rid of the low contrast problem and your image will pop.
